The Community Soccer Program is for all area youth from 1st through 8th grade. The purpose of community soccer is to provide and foster organized youth soccer for girls and boys at a fun yet challenging level. The philosophy of our program is to promote participation, emphasize sportsmanship and develop skills with an appreciation for the game of soccer.
The programming season includes approximately 8 games total - occurring on Saturday mornings or early afternoons. Teams also get the opportunity to compete in the annual LUFC Community Soccer Tournament.
Community Soccer coaches are all SafeSport certified, and receive support and training from Director of Coaching, Chris Corrao. All coaches have the opportunity to continue their training with sponsored courses from US Soccer and WYSA, which offers licensing programs from Grassroots through Professional.
Goalgetters United Soccer Club (GGUSC) offers a higher level of competition in its Select Program for Girls and Boys ages 10 - 19. Playing on a GGUSC Select team requires a higher level of commitment from both the player and their family. Each team is coached by a United States Soccer Federation/WI Youth Soccer Association (WYSA) licensed coach and will receive training led by GGUSC's Director of Coaching, Chris Corrao.
All teams may have a team camp in July or August that stresses GGUSC curriculum, philosophies and team building.
The Little Kickers Program is designed for girls and boys in 4 & 5 year old Kindergarten. The program offers basic skill development, but the primary goal is to provide a FUN environment to foster a love for the game!
